Brazed plate heat exchangers
Compact, sealed ParaBrazed exchangers in AISI 316L stainless steel brazed with copper. A lot of duty in a small housing.
REF · BRAZED
How a brazed exchanger is made
Stainless steel plates and brazing foil are cut and pressed. The pack, with its connection and end plates, goes into a vacuum furnace — 8 hours above 1000 °C. Contact points and plate edges are permanently joined with pure copper.
- No gaskets — tight and resistant to high pressure.
- A maze of channels gives a large transfer area in a small housing.
- Turbulent flow: high performance with minimal pressure loss.
Why Brazed plate heat exchangers
Compact design
An excellent size-to-duty ratio — also compared with tubular exchangers.
Turbulent flow
High performance with minimal pressure loss.
No gaskets
Pure-copper joints, AISI 316L plates — tight and durable.
H, M and L plates
Choose between maximum efficiency and low pressure drop.

The heart of a substation
Standard in compact and wall-mounted VX substations.
Plate variants
The corrugation angle decides turbulence and pressure drop.
H plate
All corrugations at 30°. High turbulence and efficiency, higher pressure drop.
30° angle
M plate
Mixed 45° and 30° corrugations. Medium turbulence and medium pressure drop.
45° / 30° angle
L plate
All corrugations at 60°. Low turbulence and low pressure drop.
60° angle
