Heat exchangers

APV plate heat exchangers for district heating, refrigeration and industrial processes — from compact brazed units to large gasketed frames.

Three designs

Gasketed, brazed and plate & shell — we match the type to the medium, pressure and service needs.

Dozens of plate sizes

From small units up to DN 500 connections and 4.7 m² per plate.

Gasketed Brazed Plate & shell
Design can be opened, with gaskets sealed, copper-brazed welded plate pack in a shell
Working pressure 6–30 bar up to 30 bar up to 40 bar
Working temperature −35…+175 °C up to 195 °C −40…+300 °C
Service cleaning, plate and gasket replacement chemical flushing mechanical cleaning (bolted shell)
Typical use DHW, processes, marine, food substations, refrigeration, heat pumps high duty, aggressive media
03 Special designs

Specialist exchangers

For processes where a standard gasketed exchanger is not enough.

ParaWeld

Laser-welded plate pairs

Every other channel is welded, the rest gasketed. For evaporating and condensing refrigerants (ammonia, freons) and media that must not touch a gasket.

up to 30 bar · −38…+200 °C

DuoSafety

Double-wall plates

Two plate layers per flow plate. A leak is detected early — the media never get a chance to mix.

for gasketed exchangers

Hybrid

Fully welded

Heating, cooling, drying and concentrating at high temperatures and pressures — sugar, power, chemicals. Also for gases.

vacuum–60 bar · −200…+900 °C · up to 6000 m²
